Arkansas Duck Hunting
from:Arkansas is known to a capital of duck hunting which is why it is being visited by hunting enthusiasts, young and old, for the best duck hunting escapades. Arkansas duck hunting may be a rare experience most especially for those who reside far from this place. Because of this, it is necessary for someone planning to hunt ducks in Arkansas to be prepared and make the right plan before getting into Arkansas.
The following are basic tips for hunters who are planning to make a hunting trip to Arkansas. First, timing is important. The most desirable season to come is during mid to late December until January. Many agree that January is actually the best time to go for Arkansas duck hunting. This certain month is the time when a pretty number of ducks have arrived in the place because of the weather conditions.
Getting a guide is also recommended since they are familiar to the place and they can give you specific tips when it comes to Arkansas duck hunting. However, there are certain guides which make the trip more horrible and sometimes would make you think it would be better to go on a hunt without them. The best solution to avoid these hunting trip wreckers is to ask for someone who have already been in a hunting trip there and get a recommendation as to the tour guide who would be useful. Most often than not, those oldies in the business are more dependable and worth the hire rather than newbie guides.
What should you bring in the duration of the hunting trip? In Arkansas, inclement weather is not uncommon. They say that in a matter of days, temperature ranges from 70 to 20 degrees so it is a necessity to bring variety of clothes suited for all weather conditions. Surely, you wouldn't want to get sick while in Arkansas and miss the fun.
It is also necessary to bring hip boots so that you can wade in the water. You should also wear camouflage patterns so as not to drive ducks away from you. The ducks can still see clearly though so you should bring masks or face covers so that they won't get away. And of course, since hunting is your purpose, never forget to bring a gun. Arkansas duck hunting is not a common thing to do so make the most out of it when you get there.
